Alert activity

Plan: every plan can open the tab; alert emails are sent on Starter and up, so on Free it stays empty.

Alerts › Activity shows how Cove’s alert emails went over the last 30 days. Nothing on it can be edited.

Under the heading Sent in the last 30 days:

  • Emails sent this month, against your plan’s monthly limit, for example “120 of 200 emails sent this month”. This count includes wishlist reminders, which share the limit. On Free it reads “(none on this plan)”. It resets on the 1st of each month (UTC).
  • Shoppers waiting for a back-in-stock email: confirmed Notify me requests that haven’t been answered yet.
  • Not confirmed yet: guest requests still waiting for the shopper to confirm their address (double opt-in). Shown only when there are some.

One row per alert kind (Back in stock, Price drop, Low stock), counting the emails queued in the last 30 days:

Column Means
Sent Delivered to the email provider.
Waiting Queued, being sent, or held for next month because the monthly limit was reached.
Not sent Dropped on purpose: the alert stopped being true (the item sold out again, or its price went back up), the customer has no email marketing consent, the address is unsubscribed or bounced, or the email waited in the queue too long.
Failed The provider refused it, or it still failed after 5 tries.

Reminders are not in this table; their own count is on the Reminders tab. Shopify Flow triggers aren’t counted here either: Flow shows its own run history.

Before the first alert email, the tab shows “No alert emails yet”.

The tab never shows who an email went to. Cove doesn’t show, export or link to a subscriber’s email address or customer ID anywhere in the admin.
