Presets

Plan: every plan, including Free. Saving your own presets needs Pro and up.

The Presets tab is the first tab of Design. A preset sets the whole look in one click; you can then fine-tune it on the other tabs.

Built-in presets

Preset	Look
Minimal	Outlined heart, red when saved, white background. The default.
Bold	Black pill button with a shadow and a bigger icon.
Boutique	Bookmark icon in warm browns on a cream background.
Luxury	Gold star, text-only button, square corners, smaller text.
Playful	Purple sparkle on pink, rounded, with a shadow.

Picking a preset replaces the look: icon, button style, colours, sizes, corners, shadow, card heart and wishlist link settings, message position and timing, text size and typography. It does not change:

• your labels and translations,
• your uploaded icon file,
• your custom CSS,
• your save animation and social proof settings.

All built-in presets work on every plan. Once you change any value on another tab, the Studio says “You’re using your own mix. Pick a preset to replace it.” Picking a preset doesn’t change your store until you save.

Your presets

Pro and up. Save the current look under a name, to come back to it later or switch between seasonal looks.

1. Set the look you want on the other tabs.
2. On Presets, type a Preset name (up to 40 characters) and click Save as preset.
3. Click Save in the Save Bar.

What’s saved	The look only, as listed above, plus the save animation. Not labels, your icon file or custom CSS. A preset made while using your own icon remembers “use my uploaded icon”.
How many	Up to 10. At 10 the name field says “Delete one to save another.”
Names	Must differ from your other presets (ignoring capitals).
Apply	Click the preset’s name.
Delete	Click Delete next to it. Deleting takes effect when you save.

Your presets are kept in Cove, not on your storefront.

On a lower plan, your saved presets stay: you can still apply and delete them, but not add or change one. A preset saved on Pro and applied on a lower plan leaves out its Pro parts (the save animation and your own icon), so it can still be saved. Built-in presets can always be applied.

Reset to default

Click Reset to default at the top of the Presets section. Cove asks “Reset the design?”:

• The look, effects and custom CSS on every tab go back to Cove’s defaults (the Minimal preset, no animation, no social proof, no custom CSS).
• Your labels, translations and uploaded icon file stay. The icon goes back to the heart; your file is kept for later.
• Nothing changes on your store until you save.

Your saved presets, the wishlist page settings and the customer account page layout aren’t touched by a reset.
