Analytics
Plan: every plan, including Free (30 days). Pro and up add 90 days, 12 months and CSV export. The Wishlist revenue card needs Premium.
Open Analytics in the app’s menu. The page compares the period you’re looking at with the period of the same length just before it, so you can see whether wishlist use is growing.
Date range
Section titled “Date range”| Plan | Ranges | CSV export |
|---|---|---|
| Free and Starter | Last 30 days | No |
| Pro and Premium | Last 30 days, last 90 days, last 12 months | Yes |
On Pro and Premium the page opens on the last 90 days; pick another range with the date button at the top. On Free and Starter the button reads Last 30 days (more on Pro) and the Export CSV (Pro) button is shown but disabled.
Charts show one point per day for 30 and 90 days, and one point per week for 12 months. Weeks are counted back from today, so the last point always ends today.
How a day is counted
Section titled “How a day is counted”- Days are UTC days, not your store’s time zone. A save at 11pm in New York lands on the next UTC day.
- Counting starts when the app is installed, so there is no history from before that.
- A number goes up only when something actually changed. Saving an item that is already saved, or removing one that isn’t there, counts nothing.
- A shopper counts once a day, however many things they do. A shopper is one signed-in customer or one guest browser. A guest who saves something and then signs in on the same day still counts as one shopper.
The metric cards
Section titled “The metric cards”Each card shows the period’s number, a trend badge against the period before, and its own chart. The dashed grey line is the period before; hover a chart to see one day’s (or week’s) numbers. Under the Saves chart, Show the numbers as a table lists every point with the previous period beside it.
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Saves | Items added to a wishlist. The line under it says how many were removed in the same period. |
| Shoppers per day | The daily average of distinct shoppers who used a wishlist (saved, removed, or added to cart from a wishlist page). |
| Added to cart from wishlist | Items added to cart from the wishlist page or a shared list page, with the share of saves it represents (for example “12% of saves”). “Add all” counts every item it adds. |
| Wishlist revenue | Sales that came from wishlists, on Premium. See Wishlist revenue. Below Premium the card shows a Premium badge and a link to Plans instead of a chart. |
What counts as a save or a removal
Section titled “What counts as a save or a removal”Counted as saves: hearts on product cards and over product images, the product page button, the list picker in the save notice, Save for later from the cart, the storefront JavaScript API and the REST API.
Counted as removals: taking an item off from the storefront, the wishlist page or the My wishlist account page, deleting a list that still held items (each item counts), and removals through the REST API.
An Undo in the save notice is counted too: undoing a removal shows as a removal followed by a save.
What isn’t counted
Section titled “What isn’t counted”- Imported items (Import).
- Moving an item between lists, renaming, sharing or deleting an empty list.
- A guest’s list merging into their account when they sign in.
- Add to cart from the My wishlist account page.
Top saved products
Section titled “Top saved products”Your 10 most-saved products right now, across every shopper’s lists.
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Saved now | Live saves of the product today, in every list. Removed saves don’t count. |
| Saved in the last … | Of those live saves, how many were made in the selected period. |
Click a row to open the product in Shopify admin.
Most saved, running low
Section titled “Most saved, running low”Up to 10 saved products with this many units or fewer left in total, most-saved first. The threshold is your Low stock alert setting in Settings › Alerts & emails (default 3, from 1 to 50).
- Stock comes from Shopify’s product update notifications, not a live stock read (the app has no inventory permission). A product appears only after Shopify next reports a change to it, so a product nobody has edited or sold since the app was installed may not show yet.
- A product is listed only once the stock of every one of its variants is known.
- A product with a variant that keeps selling at zero stock (untracked, or “Continue selling when out of stock”) is left out, because its count says nothing about running out.
Export CSV
Section titled “Export CSV”Plan: Pro and up (the Wishlist sales file needs Premium).
Export CSV at the top of the page downloads the selected range:
| File | Columns |
|---|---|
| Daily counts | date, saves, removes, shoppers, cart_from_list: one row per UTC day. |
| Saved products | product_id, title, saved_now, saved_last_N_days: your 1,000 most-saved products. |
| Wishlist sales | One row per wishlist sale, on Premium. See Wishlist revenue. |
The files hold counts, product IDs and titles only, never anything about a shopper. A cell that starts with =, +, - or @ gets a leading apostrophe so a spreadsheet never runs a product title as a formula.
Related
Section titled “Related”- Wishlist summary email: the same numbers emailed to you weekly or monthly (Pro and up).
- Plans: what each plan includes.
